Easter Greetings!

Happy Easter everyone! The kids got to do 3 egg hunts. The first one they got no eggs. Aleah was devastated. Don't think we are going to do the public egg hunts any more. The 2nd one was a little one in the neighborhood. Parents turned in eggs for each child and a fabulous woman in the neighborhood hid them. This time the kids got a dozen eggs each and were totally thrilled. Then Kim, Drew and the kids came over for a hunt in the back yard. Yep, more eggs! The only bummer thing is that Evan and I are on the hcg diet and it strictly prohibits sugar. Easter candy is my favorite! I did cheat a couple of times on 1 piece of candy. Still consider myself a success!

And speaking of HCG, we made it through phase 2! Yay us! This is seriously a miracle diet and I recommend it for anyone who wants to lose weight. It's totally safe contrary to what some say. In 3 weeks, I lost 17 lbs and Evan lost 25. Evan looks GREAT!! We are now on phase 3, the maintenance phase for 3 weeks. Still no sugar and no starches but we can eat more of other foods. We had a salad with mixed veggies for the first time in almost a month yesterday. It was wonderful. Pure delight. Most think we can't keep it off but we are determined to prove them all wrong :)

When our computer crashed, we lost all of our blog links. For those of you who have blogs, please, please, send me your blog links again. And seriously, hasn't it been the longest winter EVER????? So waiting for the real Spring to come!

Congrats! Would love to hear more details of the diet.

Isn't HCG the pregnancy hormone?

I stopped taking my kids to public egg hunts too. Too crazy, and it really is just mass hysteria for candy instead of a fun little hunt for eggs. This year we did one with friends at a party - where they designate how many eggs each kid can have, so they ALL get 2 dozen. And we did one at home. Loved it.

you look GREAT, I know you can keep it off. You're that kind of person who can set and stick to goals.
